Reporting and Responsibilities

 

The Institutional Research Department at the College of Menominee Nation is under the Director of Institutional Research and formally reports to the Chief Academic Officer. Institutional research serves all aspects of CMN’s work, including:

  • Coordinating internal & external survey research
  • Conducting special research & assessment projects
  • Compiling & reporting official College data facts & figures
  • Responding to special requests for data
  • Consulting through data-gathering activities in CMN departments
  • Encouraging data reporting practices that make for higher levels of consistency and accuracy across CMN
  • Completing requests for data from outside agencies (i.e. Federal, State, Tribal)
  • Reviewing all CMN grants and projects

 

Professional Ethics

The Institutional Research Department at the College of Menominee Nation (CMN) adheres to the Code of Ethics established by the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) that was adopted by its membership in 1992, and also adheres to the United States Department of Education regulations outlined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA, 20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34CFR Part 99).
