COVID-19 Tuition Waiver FAQs
CMN is stepping up. We know these are difficult times, and we don't want that to put a hold on your educational journey. With that in mind, we've instituted a temporary tuition waiver of 50% for all CMN students. We hope this will help students offset extra costs that might be associated with the pandemic.
- How do I claim my tuition waiver?
You register for classes. Your Student Account in Empower will reflect the waiver once billed.
- Who qualifies for a tuition waiver?
All students who enroll for classes.
- Is the waiver a refund?
No, the waiver does not provide a refund. The waiver reduces the cost of tuition.
- If you can offer a waiver now, why not offer it all the time?
Federal and State relief funds were provided to institutions of higher education. The College of Menominee Nation decided to use some of the funds to support students with their education by providing a tuition waiver of 50%.
- Is the tuition waiver for the whole school year?
The tuition waiver is currently planned for the Spring 2021 semester.
The accuplacer requirement has been waived for the Spring 2021 semester. Please contact Admissions at 715-799-6226, ext. 3065, or by e-mail at admissions@menominee.edu to see how this may have affected your enrollment at CMN.
