Accuplacer Testing Information

What is the Accuplacer Test

The Accuplacer test is a placement test that helps identify skill levels in math, English, and reading comprension. The results of this test are used to determine eligiblity in class placement.

Who needs to take the Accuplacer Test?

All degree seeking students need to take this test unless you have completed an Associate Degree or higher.

What kind of score do I need to get?

There is no right or wrong score, but students may need to meet minimal Accuplacer scores to gain admission into certain programs or courses at CMN. If students are unable to reach certain scores for placement into CMN courses, students may go to Skill Builder Labs where they may get assistance in preparing for the test. Skill Builder Labs can be found at both campus locations. Students may prepare and retake the test until they meet minimal scores.

When and where can I take the test?

For your convenience, CMN offers the Accuplacer Test at both campus locations. Simply call to schedule your appointment at either location by dialing 715-799-6226 or 800-567-2344. To schedule in Keshena ask for ext. 3169, or Oneida/Green Bay ext. 4000.

Is there a fee to take the test?

The fee is waived if you are applying to the CMN.
