Learn and Earn Program

The Learn and Earn program is funded by a grant from the State of Wisconsin. It allows high school juniors and seniors to get a head start in college and gain confidence in their ability to succeed in higher education. The coursework may meet graduation requirements of their high school and should be approved by their high school counselor.

Learn and Earn program participants enroll at CMN and take 3 credits of coursework per semester. The grant pays for tuition, fees, and textbooks.

To participate in this program, students must:

  1. Complete CMN admissions application.
  2. Submit official high school transcript.
  3. Submit official verification of tribal enrollment, if they are enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe.
  4. Achieve satisfactory scores on placement test. (If scores are not met, students may go to the Skills Builder Lab, retake the test until minimal scores are met, or take pre-college classes.)

An unofficial transcript will be accepted in the first semester, but students must obtain an official transcript by the start of their second semester at CMN.

Participants in this program are subject to CMN’s Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
