WHY I SMILE

I have finally found love.
How could I be this happy?
Marrying the father of my son.
Candles, silk, music and flowers.
Now at last we can be a family.
I have it all, what could be missing?

 
My family is the only missing
piece, but I have all the love
I have ever needed, with family.
Then the day came, I am so happy.
Walking down the aisle with flowers.
The one giving me away, our son. 

Long hair, tux, and tie, our son.
Perfect day, not a thing missing.
All the bows, streamers and flowers.
One beautiful day in May, full of love.
We said our vows, we're truly happy.
What a complete and happy family!

 
We're surrounded by friends and family.
We now have two daughters and a son.
All is good with the world, I am happy.
I get sad thinking what they’re missing,
My family’s knowledge and their love.
But, it is okay, because we plant flowers.
 

My kids love to plant flowers.
What better way to remember family,
with all that goes in it, love.
The one who knew ma, our son,
but the other two are missing,
out. But the two are happy.
