Integrated Studies in Sustainability
Bringing It All Together
The Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies prepares students to implement sustainable solutions to environmental and social issues. ISS develops students’ critical thinking, effective communication, and culturally informed perspectives, and directs these abilities to improve community and environmental well-being. Learning a variety of methods to identify and balance the community elements defined in The Menominee Theoretical Model of Sustainability (MTMS) prepares students to deal effectively and professionally with complex social and environmental systems that involve numerous diverse elements.
- Graduates of the Integrative Studies Bachelor of Arts program are prepared for employment in organizations committed to community and environmental well-being, including tribal and other public- sector entities, as well as socially and environmentally responsible nonprofit and for-profit organizations, in entry, mid-management, and research positions.
- The program offers two emphasis tracks: Sustainability and Communications.
