Financial Aid Options
Why Wait?
We are delighted that you are considering CMN as your college choice to start, continue, or complete your education plan. One of the biggest challenges students and their families face in selecting a college is how to cover the cost of education.
Financial Aid is designed to help meet the difference between the cost of college and your (or your family’s) ability to pay. The purpose of CMN’s Financial Aid Office is to assist you, the student, to locate and receive financial resources for which you are eligible.
The Financial Aid Office is pleased to provide a tool to help you better understand what your net cost of attendance might be. The US Department of Education has developed a Net Price Calculator to aid in estimating your costs and potential financial aid. These estimates do not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance or a final net price; they are only estimates based on price of attendance and financial aid provided to students in 2017-18. Price of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year. These estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education or the College of Menominee Nation.
Not all students receive financial aid. In 2019-20, 74% of degree seeking students received Pell grants. Students may also be eligible for private scholarships and work-study. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to determine their eligibility for Federal financial aid that includes Federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance.
NOTE: CMN does not provide student loans.
