
The Pathways Program
The College of Menominee Nation's Pathways program, formed in conjunction and collaboration with the Menominee Indian School District, allows high school juniors and seniors to engage in Dual Enrollment, working towards an Associate Degree in Liberal Studies.
Learn & Earn program participants will enroll at CMN, taking 3 credits of coursework per semester. This program's grant pays for tuition, fees, and textbooks.
To participate in this program, students must:
- Be actively attending high school, be home-schooled, and/or enrolled in an academy.
- Have successfully completed all Freshman and Sophomore-level high school courses
- Obtain approval from their high school guidance counselor
- Submit a College of Menominee Nation Admissions application, found here:
- Apply online at https://cmn.empower-xl.com/new/EMPOWER/authentication/applicationLogin.xhtml
- On your application, you will want to select “High School.”
- Submit the required admission documents listed below:
- Tribal ID or Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) if applicable. This can be uploaded in your application or emailed to admissions@menominee.edu
- Official High School Transcripts. These must be sent via an electronic transcript service (for example, Parchment) or mailed directly to CMN from the high school. CMN’s mailing address is listed below
- Submit the High School Course Enrollment Form. This can be found on our website on the Learn and Earn page or by following the link below.
- Apply online at https://cmn.empower-xl.com/new/EMPOWER/authentication/applicationLogin.xhtml
- Review and acknowledge the High School Pathways Handbook
- Have their parent and/or guardian review and acknowledge the High School Pathways Handbook.
Participants in this program are subject to CMN’s Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Registration must be completed by students, parents, and their high school counselor.
Students will receive an automated email when their application has been submitted, and the Admissions Office will review their application and submitted documents.
