CMN's New Student Orientation is designed to give students a head start on their semester. Through a series of explainers and workshops, new arrivals will learn how to use Empower, order textbooks, and receive any paperwork they may need for the months ahead.

 

Orientation Stations



Welcome / Sign IN
  • Receive your Orientation checklist, agenda, and a complimentary CMN bag.
  • At the end of orientation, you'll return your checklist here. If you stop at all of the orientation stations, you'll be eligible for one of our door prizes, listed above.
Registration
  • Make sure you're registered for upcoming classes.
Admissions
  • Handle any remaining admissions information and prepare for the upcoming semester.
Account Log-in
  • Here, we'll make sure all of your accounts are accessible.
  • You'll also learn how to navigate these accounts, as well as how to find your bills, schedules, and grades.
Ordering textbooks
  • Order your textbooks, or check to see if they've already been ordered and sent.
Billing & Payment
  • Make sure you have your accounts set up for payments and reimbursements.
FAFSA
  • Make sure your FAFSA is completed. If additional paperwork is needed, you'll be able to pick it up here.
  • Receive an explanation on how scholarship allocation is handled at CMN.
IDentifaction
  • If you still need an ID card, you'll be able to get one here.
Career & Placement Information
  • Learn more about your post-collegiate options.
  • Receive information on current internships available at CMN.
Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Learn more about CMN's Vocational Rehabilitation program, where services can be provided to help Native Americans with disabilities obtain and retain employment.
Library
  • Receive some information about using and utilizing the S. Verna Fowler Library.
Faculty Information
  • Meet some of the faculty at CMN.
